Question
1: I have created a Free/Busy GPO, which sets Outlook free/busy info to post
three months out, and update every 60 seconds. I also have created a
Resources OU that contains all of my Resource Users, with AutoAcceptAgent
managing all these calanders. I have also linked the Free/Busy GPO to the
Resources OU. However, I have not actually logged in to a machine as any of
the Resource users. So when (if at all) does the GPO get applied to the user?
And since this is an Outlook setting, and the Resource Users are being
handled on the Server, will this even affect these users?
2: We are a small office, with a few Word and Excel templates that include
code. I have created a SelfSigned Certificate for inhouse code security, and
I have manually trusted that Cert on a machine and everything works just
dandy. Now I would like to automate trusting that Cert office wide. I know
this is exactly why we should probably use CertificateServer, but at this
point the learning curve on installing and managing CertServer is perhaps
higher than even manually trusting my SelfSigned Cert everywhere. But a GPO
methode would be even better. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Gordon
