I cannot modify domain group policies in Windows 2000 server. I looked up the MSKB and was not able to find anything about it.

Last time I modified the policy was by using GPMC on a XP system. Now I'm trying to manually modify the policy in active directory, it will change the value, but when I refresh it, it will go back to the original value...

Really odd.. Can you direct me to the right direction.

Ray,

The issue is that you have different adm versions on the machines (ADM files
power the choices in the GP editor). Copy the *.adm files out of the \inf
folder on the XP machine to the inf folder on the 2000 server. When you
service pack the 2000 machine, be sure to copy the adm's back, as they'll be
over written.
