All,
Could someone explain or provide a link detailing how I can get GPO user
settings to take effect when a user logs on to a particular PC, rather than
just to that user account.
i.e.. I have an OU with workstations (only) in it. I want any user that logs
onto these workstations (from other OU's) to have screen savers set, etc...
these are user settings. Rather than placing the users in the OU where the
policy is set, the policy is set where the workstations are. Does that make
sense?
In the past, we have had to place some user accounts in the OU where the
'User Settings' GPO information resided for it to take effect, which is not
preffered.
TIA!!
