hello,
I recently implemented the GPO to prevent users from using reg edit tools
(regedit, regedit32).
I have since discovered that we need user to be able to make changes to the
reg.
The GPO was:
"Disable registry editing tools" = Enabled
The GPO is now:
"Disable registry editing tools" = Disabled
BUT when i apply a reg hack as normal user i get:
"Cannot import xxxxxxxxxxxx.reg: Not all data was successfully written to
the registry.
Some keys are open by the system or other processes."
can anyone tell me why this happens, it didn't before i set the GPO??!!?
I'm using Win2000 AD
