How do I import a system service so that I can control it trough a GPO?

I want to be able to manage Backup Exec (and other system services) trough a
machine policy.

If I install the application on my DC I get the system services in my GPO's
and can control them that way.

Now, I don't want to install every application that has system services on
our DC's. so how do I import the settings in a GPO?

Is it the same procedure in Windows server 2003?

Thanks for any help : )

Hi Fredrik,

The following article should resolve your issue:

That did the trick, thank you! : )

For anyone reading this thread in the future.
It worked the same way in Windows Server 2003.
But you have to edit security on the services in the GPO, if not it's
everyone FC, and that's not very good.

Again, thank you Mr.Nair : )
