GPO Setting not being read

Would like to change the setting of Administrator approved active x controls
for IE. Mage the setting in the default domain GPO but it is not being
cahnged on my machines. Assured that GPO is being read by doing a gpresult
on workstations, but the one one ploicy change not being overwritten. Any
ideas? Thanks

In addition to gpresult use rsop.msc on the workstation to see what it
reports as what GP settings are being applied and what is the "winning" GPO.
I also usually try setting a couple other trivial GP settings to see if they
are being propagated or not to see if the problem is related to the GPO or
the settings themselves. --- Steve

suggested.
