Cany anybody tell me if there's a way to have the GPO set the communities to
READ/WRITE? Compaq Insight Manager (CIM) needs READ/WRITE access to my
servers and I would hate to configure this manually on all my servers.

Thanks,

There isn't a setting for this. If you know what registry settings need to
be made you can create a custom adm for this. See the following article.

Hi Chris,

Sorry there does not has the GPO which can do this.

If you install the application on one DC, do you still need to set the
Read/Write to each DC? I think you can open the Group Policy Editor to
grante the Read/Write to the CIM on the DC.

If my understanding is wrong, I think it's better to contact the
application vender/support to get the help about this.

Thanks for using Microsoft News Group!
