Hi,

You can definetely filter by security group across multiple OUs. What you'll
need to do is ACL the GPO for all the groups you want to give access to, and
then link the GPO to each of the target OUs.

I'm planing on enabling GPOS for users across multiple OUs...can I follow
the following KB artible??? using group memberhip to enforce a GPO? The
article describes software deployment...and I'm wondering if it hold true
for User\Computer settings as well.

there are a number of things to remember when applying
OU.s , block inheritancy, no override and security
settings on the GPO can all affect how a GPO is applied.
you can use group membeship to grant or deniy access to a
GPO. more research on your side on this topic and setup a
lab to test first. good luck
