Hello, All
I hava a two-way domain trust setup between a Win2000 and a Win2003 domain.
Howerver when I logged into e.g the Win2000 DC using my account from the
Win2003 domain, I noted the following error is being logged...
**************************************
Name: Unexpected Error applying group policy to machine account
Description: The logged on user's forest is different from the machine's
forest. Cross Forest Group Policy processing is disabled and loopback
processing has been enforced in this forest for this user account.
***********************************
I am a bit concern if this is a problem..?? It appears a GPO's from the
Win2003 domain is getting applied in the Win2000 domain . I am a bit
pizzuled how GPO's from a different domain can be appled,.
Any insight on this would certainly be appreciated..
