Hi,

I've install SUS in one of our BDC server. And I following
the SUS deployment guide to create a new group policy to
direct all of our client workstations to the internal SUS
server.
The first step of my work was created a new OU in the ADS.
The new OU containing a test group and I've added some
selected workstation into the group.
Then, I create a new GPO and load sus admin template into
admin template.
After I finished GPO configuration, I restart one of
client workstation and I found the GPO take NO effect when
client's machine startup and logon into the domain.
According to the SUS deployment guide, a registry entry
named WindowsUpdate should add into client workstation's
registry under:
HKLM/software/Policies/Microsoft/Windows/WindowsUpdate.

Anything wrong in my procedures?? I read some new within
this news group. Some of SUS user seem no such problem.
And some suggest to move the computers from
folder "computers" into the OU which will apply the
policy. However, we have more than 400 workstation. Can I
get the same result without moving workstations around
ADS??

Many thanks.
Matthew
