I have an user account that use gpo to redirect "my documents" to
\\server\share\%username%
the same account maps the above as drive h:
I logged into the account and starts word 2000. I pressed "save as" and the
browse windows pop up. Here comes my problems:
1) Drive C: should be hidden by some gpo policy. Now you see everything. It
is good that I have file security close and tide.
2) I clicked on "my documents". It tells me that the user has no right on
\\server\share which is true.
3) I have to click on my computer and select h: myself before I can save the
file. I am able to save my file after all.
I don't want my users browsing around \\server\share (no read access). I
don't want my users browsing around c: (with some common application such as
word2000 and no doubt excel and powerpoint) and I want my users to be able
to use the big button "my documents".
Any idea?
Man, I am getting a headache now....
cheers,
Jeremy
