I have a Windows 2000 Server that is a DC and acts as a DNS... (I log on as Administrator). Every time I go to administrative tools menu-->and try to open (Domain controller security policy) OR (Domain security policy) I get a Group policy Error window that says:
"Failed to open the group policy object. you may not have appropriate rights"
Details: An invalid dn syntax has been specified

Can anyone tell me whats wrong?
