GPO does not update

In Internet Explorer Maintenance I have Customized my Home Page URL to make the Home Page always stay the same even if someone manages to change it. Therefore I also enabled "Internet Explorer Maintenance policy processing" to "Process even if the Group Policy objects have not changed" but it does not work. The Home Page does not update to the URL in the Group Policy only if I change the URL. What am I missing here

Hello Anna, can you explain more what you mean with "only if I change the"
How ever you can use the tool gpresult (Built-in with Windows XP and Windows
Server 2003) to receive all applied group policy's and policy settings.
