I am not familar with the FAZAM product, but it has come
to me highly recomended. I just got the GPMC from MS
which seems to do all that FAZAM can do. Could someone
please tell me if there is a good enough reason to spend
the mnoney on FAZAM or will GPMC take care of my needs.
If possible, poing me to a site that compare and
contrast.

I really don't mean this to be as "cute" as it sounds but the answer to your
question is heavily dependant on just what your needs might be. For
management of GPO's (backups, restore, copying) and areas like Group Policy
Results and Modeling I think you'll find GPMC provides some great features.
However, you need to look at the feature set of the FAZAM product and assess
how well it aligns with your own specific needs to be able to make that
judgement. By way of example, the FAZAM product provides auditing, which
GPMC does not. However, I would advise against seeing these as mutually
exclusive - take a look at the features of each and perhaps they both play a
role.
