Hey everyone!

I am using Windows XP sp1 and the GPMC. My problem is however, when I use
the GPMC the "WMI Filters" node is missing in the mmc. Does anyone know the
fix for this or the .dll that may have been unregistered somehow so I can
get the WMI filters node back?

Thanks in advance!

Is your domain running Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000?

If you are running Windows 2000 on your DCs, WMI Filters will not be available unless you have added the Windows Server
2003 configuration by running adprep /domainprep.

If you are running Windows Server 2003 on your DCs, then the WMI Filters container should already be present.

We are running Windows 2k servers in our domain. My test domain is 2003 and
the WMI filters node does show up. Thanks for the info!
