GPMC installation

I am trying to install GPMC.msi on my computer (winXP-sp2, .Net 2) but it
stops with the following error;

"Please install .Net framework..."
I have .net already installed. What would be the problem and solution.

Maybe you don't have a current version? Try using the one at the link

You solved my problem it was about a month I was trying to do this
