I am trying to implement a scrolling marquee with the name of our company
throughout the company. I have put the .scr file in a shared folder on the
server and set up all the appropriate things in GP. I made sure I used a UNC
path for the executable. But on my client PC's the scrolling marquee does
not show what I set up. It shows the default marquee with "Your Text Here"
instead of our company name. Is there a way to fix this through GP? Thanks.

The scrolling marquee screen saver says "Your Text Here" when it does not
have any input. The .scr file does not contain that. You'll notice that
you had to set up the text in the properties for that. There is not a GPO
that can modify properties. Take a look on the MS web site to see if you
can find a way to pass a command line parameter, that would work from the
GP. I didn't see any other info in the KB, but maybe you'll be more
successful.

Otherwise, maybe a 3rd party screensaver will do it?
