got SP2, now Norton won't work

I can't get automatic protection, email protection or
automatic live update to work on Norton now that I have
SP2. The firewall is disabled and other programs aren't
blocked, but somehow Norton won't work. I'm afraid to
visit any websites in this day and age without virus
protection but I can't get Norton functional. It seems
as though all SP2 has done is thoroughly mess up my
wireless internet(took 2 hours to fix the problems) and
prevent Norton from working.
I feel as though I've been duped into breaking my
computer.

I thiugh that SP2 was supposed to enhance wireless?
Unplug from the internet and uninstall norton reboot then install it
again,reboot and reconnect to the internet go and do a manual update of all
norton products.
