Prolific acf poster Gordon Darling has now also contributed to Fred Langa's
excellent newsletter: http://www.langa.com/newsletters/2004/2004-04-19.htm
(See item #3.)

Good for you, Gordon!

It is good that he spreads "the word" - here about alternative DOS
operatingsystems, but AFAIK all the text (and URLs), except the short
intro by Gordon, are copied from two pots by me, and not "from a
number of acf posters" as Gordon claims in his LangaList contribution.

or <<http://groups.google.com/groups?&[email protected]>

Not that I claim "copyright" for the URLs, or that I mind being quoted
(if I did I would never post in public:), but when you quote only one
poster, and not several as claimed, there is a English term for it I
think, "credit",
"A short note acknowledging a source of information or
quoting a passage."

All the best,
Bjorn Simonsen

I actually quoted a lot more links from, as I said, "a number of
posters", Bjorn. Unfortunately Fred Langa chose to edit the listing
(you'll note he replaced some links with his own as well) and dropped a
number of the links (including two from myself which hadn't been posted to
acf). Wasn't trying to do you out of any credit Bjorn.

Hopefully, the item in the Langalist will attract a few more lurkers and
posters to acf.

All the best,
Gordon
