GoPro unveiled a range of new products today, and the highlight was the Hero5 Black. This camera is capable of recording 4K video at 30fps and 2K video at 60fps, can be voice controlled, and is waterproof up to a depth of 30ft without needing a separate case. The Hero5 Black also features a touchscreen on the back so that you don't need to link it to your smartphone.
In addition to the Hero5 Black, GoPro also revealed another new device in the same family - the Hero5 Session is a much smaller version of the Hero5 Black, and due to its small size does not feature a touchscreen. However it still benefits from features such as 4K video recording, voice control, and waterproofing.
Finally, and perhaps more excitingly, GoPro have revealed their first drone - the Karma. The drone is foldable and fits into a (supposedly comfortable and light) backpack. Another key feature of the Karma drone is that it has a 3-axis stabilising arm to help achieve smooth video in flight - and this arm can be detached and used separately.
The Karma drone is currently advertised at £719.99 on the GoPro site, and will be available on 23rd October 2016.
