I can't get to Google.com. I have Windows 2000 Pro on my
desktop. I can search to any other web site. DNS looks
good. No spyware. No viruses. Any ideas?

What does nslookup return?
What type of internet connection?
If your going through NAT could be MTU problem,
Take a look at this: http://gw.renner.bei.t-online.de/windowsxp/mtu.htm
I had a bad NIC that made my MTU drop on one machine so that some websites
would not load through NAT I had to reduce my MTU on the machine to 1250
before I could load the sites.

.

The times this has been reported recently it has
been a virus that redirects the hosts file to a trojan
version.

Do a complete spyware and virus scan on your system
with current signatures.

A HOSTS. file in your WINNT\Help folder is one sign of this.
