Is anyone else having probs reading a message from ACF? Several times
in the last 2-3 days, each time I try to read a link, I receive this
msg from Google:
"Unable to find thread. Please recheck the URL."

Is Google having problems or is it me?

No, because most people read news with a real news reader.

There have been problems with a lot of groups since Thurs or Friday.

FYI, I did not ask for a critique of my news reader, which, by the
way, is Xnews. I inquired about a problem.

And that was one answer to your quesiton. There are others. Read them all,
and pick and choose which ones you care to deal with.

The answer is still "no" regardless of your newsreader. I'm just
curious why Xnews would popup with messages from Google if (as you
imply) you're using a regular NNTP server. If you are using a regular
NNTP server, then it is probably your ISP, not Google, that is the
root of the problem.

You know, it's a shame we can't plonk someone from Google. You have
been particularly obnoxious lately and I'm tired of it.

Some people browse through groups at work with Google where they don't
have the luxury of a newsgroup feed because of IT nazi's. This ALSO
makes your hyperventilating about bottom posting all the more of a
pain. Google doesn't deal well with long posts and most bottom
posters are too lazy to edit the message they are replying to.

It's time to get off your high and mighty throne and come down to live
with us mere mortals.

BTW you should invest in a spell checker.
