When I got my new pc with vista home premium, I notice that the google search
capability shows up in 3 different places. In top right corner just after the
address bar is shows google search. Then underneath the entire address bar
is google again along with a number of other google options. Then in my
sidebar at the bottom is another google search box. I only need this google
thing once ---not 3 times. However, I do not knjow how to get rid of any or
all of them. Can someone help me with this? Thanks.

And they try and push it at you every chance they get. I can't count the
number of times I've removed the google toolbar because you have to opt
OUT not in. So if a user isn't watching closely (and many don't) Google
tool bar just shows up.

If it is a Dell computer, Google paid Dell to include this garbage.
Go to IE7>View>Toolbars>untick it there.

Also, control Panel>Programs>uninstall what you want from there.

And when you download the latest Flash from Adobe website,, untick the
Google toolbar, which is included in their flash download, too.
