That's what Google does. Try teh following and see if it helps.
How to reset IE Toolbar Menu

Restore Toolbars in Internet Explorer and/or Windows® Explorer

If not, uninstall the Google toolbar and do the following:
Restore Default Toolbars

Type this command in the RUN box, and press Enter:
Rundll32 Iedkcs32.dll,BrandCleanInstallStubs
The Windows Update menu text and it's corresponding URL is reset to factory
defaults.
If these steps do not resolve your problem, or you need help with the above,
please post back to this thread with the details and any error messages.
