The only problem I have is all the time I waste touring the world, looking
for wierd things!

Has anyone downloaded and installed Google Earth, and if so did it
cause any problems?

Not at first, but it warned me of an upgrade available, when I went to
install it I couldn't. When I selected "Run" from the download dialog
nothing happened. I tried from Firefox (my default browser, so how come
GE went to that site in IE in the first place I don't know) it tries to
run it comes up with a UAC dialog then nothing happens.

I haven't tried again after that, the version I have installed runs fine
though.

If you like aircraft carriers try 36°57'28.78"N 76°19'43.80"W

Then go to 50°48'25.75"N 1° 5'50.76"W and try to work out how that
carrier actually gets out to sea.

Move up the harbour to 36.848 N 76.295 W and visit USS Wisconsin. It's an
impressive hunk of steel.

Re the British locale; I'm guessing that the dry dock might be the key to
exit.
