google desktop search

my google desktop search doesn't work with outlook 2003. when i try to find
the add-in, it doesn't exist, and it isn't disabled. i also tried deleting
extend.dat, but it did not work. has anyone had a similar problem? the
people at google are at a loss.

Don't know what to say, but it isn't an Outlook issue. Uninstall the desktop
search entirely & see if reinstalling works.
Note - I won't use this at all as I think it gets into all sorts of security
& privacy issues, so if I were you, I'd avoid it.
