Hi,

I'm trying to find a good way to paste images (screen captures) to messages
in Outlook XP. Because pasting the bitmap from Alt+ PrintScreen is disliked
because of the size, I currently paste the image in the Paint Brush and then
save the file as GIF. The problems for this are:

1. When I paste the file in a message, the file is pasted as the file icon.
Not as an actual image.
2. When the message is replied, the image does not persist in the original
message. This is probably good to keep the mail size at minimum, but
sometimes I want to keep the image there.
3. It's bothersome to paste the bitmap to the Paint Brush first and then
pasting it in Outlook.

I'd appreciate your suggestions. By the way, I use the RTF format (not HTML)
and don't want to change this setting if possible.

I believe you'll need to use HTML for this. Best not to use RTF anyway as
only Outlook clients will read it properly (others will get a winmail.dat
attachment, and it tends to do weird things to real attachments).
