I downloaded and tested the new build in this Windoze XP Pro system. It is
an improvement. I didn't test many features but I did a full system scan
without finding anything. One thing I did have a problem with was keeping it
from reinstalling it self in startup. Each time I ran it, it would reinsert
itself and I would have to remove it again.
I uninstalled it and when I cleaned the system this time, it only had 342
registry entries. Using 2 different reg cleaners, over 300 of them were
found and using a reg file "finder" and entering both MS antispyware and
Giant, I deleted another 40 or so entries. I also used system search and
cleaned all related files out of the system.
This is an improvement over earlier builds and this should end up a very
good product for the average user or power user. Now I'll wait for beta2
before I test it again.
Not bad, Microsoft.
