good source for omega driver download...

i have googled for the omega drivers and the 4/5 site i have tried to
download from are either extremly slow or will stop at 2 megs and not
continue.

any links would be greatly appreciated.

If you google, just get them from the home site, You are probably having
problems because he does not allow linking.

I considered trying them again, but that old adage "If it ain't broke don't
fix it" sprung to mind.

Omega's site works fine for me(there are aditional mirrors there also).I
always have a fast,stable download.

i tried again and was able to successfully download the drivers. this
was the site that i was having problems with stopping after 2 megs.
I considered trying them again, but that old adage "If it ain't broke don't

i agree with "if its not broke dont fix it". but i want to try them to
see if i see any differences with doom 3. i only get 20 frames per
second. the game is VERY, VERY playable on medium quality with no
issues. if i didnt look at the fps i would not have know it was at 20
because the game plays great with the catalyst 4.9 drivers. the card is
a low-end 9200, i cant expect frame rate of a 9800. its all i could
afford at the time.

i doesnt take much to uninstall and reinstall the catalyst drivers.

now that im thinking, can the omega drivers be uninstalled with the ati
cat-uninstall utility as well. or does the omega drive have their own
uninstall utility?

ill wait a little while before i give them a try.

i appreciate the help.
