Good PCI cards commonly available?

That's my question. What are the best PCI cards still commonly
available? I don't want to overlook anything.

Between now and buying a PCI express mainboard, I would like to
improve on my GeForce3 64MB video card and the secondary lesser PCI
video card. By buying a good PCI video card, it can replace my slow
PCI card for dual monitors and then it can be taken to a new
mainboard to combine with PCI express (assuming PCI and PCI express
work together).

I think there is a GF4MX PCI card but I can't think of any recent
better ones and that card is probably no faster than your GF3.
