Hi i have just been browsing overclockers.co.uk and i came across this card whaen i was looking at agp graphics cards.
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Nvidia_AGP_Graphics_Cards.html

it is the card at the top of the page. Now it is a geforce 7600 and from what ive heard the 7 series are meant to be quite good but the price is very low so im not sure if the card is good or ****.

thanks,

yeah 7 series are good cards, but tend to be pricier on agp slots. its a little bit cheaper since its the GS model, those letters on the end of the model mean its slightly slower than the original (the fastest cards on the 7 series usually end with GT).

Its a good card nonetheless but you get what you pay for.

If you were going to buy a new card, i'd say save you money and get a better one :)

ok thats what i thought but what sort of games would those play? I dont game too much but when i do i like to have a very nice picture and my brother keeps going on abotu anti- analysing and a load of other stuff that i dont have a clue what hes on about does this card have all of that??

with a 7600GS you could play at 1280x720 resolution on your monitor, have most the graphical effects fairly high and play with about 40fps, but it struggle with anti-aliasing on.

It depends how much your willing to spend, if you go down on that link you gave at the top to leadtek 7600GT, its noticably better with a reasonable price increase.

I think that with a 7600GT you could have effects on pretty high with anti-aliasing on and still get a better framerate than the 7600GS.

However its only my opinion and i dont know for sure :D. Maybe you could read some hardware reviews on each of the cards and see what other people think? Then you can make a decision :)
