A freind in Mexico's system is shut down from a virus
or maybe something worse. He has modem access to
the net, when it's working. Should I send a copy of NAV
with current definitions and let him scan from the boot CD
or see if he can boot in safe mode with networking and
try to go to a site with online scanning? I don't want to
give away commercial software but I don't think it would
be too bad to get his system up some way so he can find
something he can afford and works with his system.
Thanks : -)

Looks like some interesting work. I'm going to use it myself.
But, if he can't access the net, then what?
