The new file sharing "features" of Vista are the primary cause of it's utter
and complete failure. Vista lacks backward compatibility with windows XP
file and print sharing. If you want to share files with xp you will have to
install LLTD package on the xp pc. Also, the different capabilities of home
basic, premium, ultimate, and business overly complicate what should be very
simple, and bring the MS practice of nickle and diming to a whole new level.
I don't see any benefit whatsover to upgrading to Vista, and imagine Server
2008 is also just another ploy to bleed money from the consumer.
