Howdy.

Anyone recommand a good book in learning how to program in .net that goes
from 'utter newbie' to building simple applications?
I have some programing expeirence, but none with C/C++ nor with
GUI/Grpahical applications for windows. (actucally I have a litte with
C/C++ so I could firgure out that part, it's just that GUI programming
confuses me)

I have visual studio 2003 (with .net stuff) from work, but don't even know
how to build a project and stuff like that in it... so I need a book that
goes from very basic stuff to learning how to build simple GUI applications.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks.. But I'm not into VB much and looking for something more focused on
C or C++ (C++ being the prefered). That, and the only thing I know how to
do is open Visual Studio... I'm kinda looking for a guide to walk me though
everything.

those are good resources though.
