I'll not be cynical and say its because its a rival to
MS's own Links Golf but.......
I play About.Golf Chryserler World Tours Game (see this
website for the FREE game
http://info.friendlysoftware.com/caddy/scripts/worldtours/
main.php3?page=home)
before MSAS was installed it worked perfectly, (well
alright, it has its own bugs lmao), but since MSAS
install it will not run in either online or offline mode
UNLESS I first shutdown MSAS from the system tray icon
If MSAS is running, go through the game menus to launch a
round and at this point you get a black screen only, Task
Manager does not show a running application as it would
normally but only a process of "Golf Game.exe" which I
can then stop, close MSAS, relaunch the game and all
works I normal. I believe the game uses DirectX 6 for
screen draw but does not use DirectPlay as far am I am
aware.
Any help much appreciated
