I keep getting the “goking.net” popup, not on all sites, bu
www.bestbyt.com is one of them.
I’ve removed cscss and goking from my registry. Nothing stops this ver
annoying popup. I’m running 3 popup stoppers and I’ve done virus an
spy scans.
“http://www.clunk.biz/uninstall.htm”; this site is not there, and now
get a note that one of my programs is truing to reach www.clunk.biz
which I’ve also removed from my registry.
Ideas anyone???? PLEASE

I had the same problem. Ad-aware and Spybot didn't help. Goking.net
had information how to remove it on http://www.clunk.biz/uninstall.htm
but the link didn't work until now. Just remove the CSCSS "Uninstall
CSCSS" with "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel and it's gone! I
hope.. :)

Use a HOSTS file to block it. An example here.

add gloking.net to it, or create one using this one as an example.

The best way is to block the server from tracking you in the first place
Blocking Ads with a Hosts File and AdShield. Under the Security Tab download
the hosts.zip file.

Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):
http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip

If you get a 404 error or Access denied, try:
http://216.180.252.218/~spywareinfo.com/downloads/tools/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location:

Sign in, then copy and paste both files in your message.
