I am registered in multiple antivirus, antispyware and antimalware forums.
In these forums they recommend that to go into safe mode that you reboot and
then start continuously tapping on the PF8 key.
I found that that doesn't always work.
Then I found that if you edit 'boot.ini' and reset the time-out value from 0
to 10, you can reboot and when it starts timing down from 10 you can hit PF8
once and get into safe mode.
My question is would this procedure work in other versions of Windows and
if so which versions.
If possible, I would like to recommend this simpler procedure in the forums
in which I am registered.
