Every time that I turn on or restart my computer Microsoft AntiSpyware
taskbar icon fails to launch upon startup. When I launch it from the start
menu shortcut I am presented with the initial setup options (participact in
SpyNet, ect.) and once I go through those steps it shows I have not run any
previous scans, dispite the fact I have. If I am to then restart my computer
it goes through all this initial setup steps again. Does anyone know how I
can resolve this?

Ensure that you finish the installation in an Administrator account. If the
problem persist, uninstall MSAS, restart the computer, and reinstall to
non-default location such as c:\MSAS. Also clean out your temporary files
under c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temp folder

To view certain folders, please enable hidden files and folders under Tools
Folder Options > View (tab)
