I am looking for the "Go Back" program or feature found
on Windows ME that allows you to go back a day or more to
recover information that was on your computer then. Is
it on Windows XP?

Go-Back is not a part of Windows XP or any other Microsoft OS.
However there is System Restore:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
