Go back card

I have seen some small add-on card that will reset to original once reboot
the system. Is there any newsgroup to talk about such hardware?

Ray, I have never heard of the hardware version, but I use the software
version, often. There were so many times I thought I would have to
re-format and reload windows, but all I did was use GO BACK and it
saved my tail.

Yesterday I couldn't get online and I spent an hour trying to fix
things. I gave up, used Go Back and it restored it to the date of my
choice. Shazaam...I was back online.

It is similar to XP's Restore, but with Go Back, you do not have to set
Restore dates...GoBack does it automatically.
I heartily recommend it if you can't get the hardware version,

A quick Google search turned up two potential hardware-based restore-cards:

There may be more, if you look.

However, for a home PC perhpas a simpler solution would be an external USB
drive and software like Acronis True Image or Norton GHOST, or a Product
like the full version of Norton GOBACK.

These cards, as far as i'm aware, simply create restore points on the hd. so
if the hd fails......?
Winxp restore isnt infallible
