Hi:

I have been trying to get a gmail invitation for the last few weeks to
no avail. I even started a blog hoping it might garner an invitation,
despite the fact I have nothing interesting to say! It's sad.

If anyone out there knows how I can get an invitation I would really
appreciate it. I am willing to donate any invitations I get from the
account to anyone who needs one.

I had been paying for a Yahoo Plus account but it expires in a couple
of days and I can't afford to renew so I wanted to try gmail and see if
it will work for me.

Send me the first and last name you want to use + a working email
address and I'll set you up. Send to:

sidetraked(at)gmail(dot)com

That's sidetraked without the "c"
 
Charlie: I'll send you an invite if you give me an email address to send it
to....or if you advise me how to invite you another way.
 
Thanks a lot for the offer. Within an hour of posting the message I
had three invitations in my Inbox. Wow, the response was impressive.
I'll be sure to invite anyone else who is interested.

BTW, what do you guys think of gmail? Is it superior to Yahoo?

I haven't used Y! much, but it's definitely solid. It'd be nice to have an
option to turn off the conversations view, though.
