I am looking for some answers, I have gone through all the questions others
have asked and still have no work around.

I use the gmail settings for outlook in windows mail, everything is set as
it should be, the SMTP and POP ports are correct, I even downloaded gmail pop
trouble shooter and when it tested my pop and SMTP it said they are not
correct and I need to set them to:

SMTP: 995
POP: 465

THEY ARE set to that setting and SSL too.

All the posts on this community are saying the same thing "Check google FAQ
and set your ports right etc, well this is all right and the settings are
right but I still get the following errors:

Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '220 mx.google.com ESMTP x56sm13548664pyg', Port: 465, Secure(SSL):
Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

I had the same problem and realized that I had the SMTP and POP numbers
switched. Once I corrected that things worked.

Looks like someone has suggested this already. Hope it helps.
