Hi,

I've tried almost every different configuration possible but nothing seems
to work. I have unselected the password authentication option, for the ports,
ive chosen 995 and 465 for one account and 995 and 587 for the other account,
but nothing seems to work. I am running Norton for my security software, but
when i used it with outlook 2003, everything worked fine. I've also enabled
the forwarding and pop access through my gmail accounts. Does anyone have any
advice for me?

Here are the error messages ( i have two gmail accounts):

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol:
POP3, Port: 587, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Account: 'pop.gmail.com (1)', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '220 mx.google.com ESMTP b8sm2543583rvf', Port: 465,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

Both accounts should be set up with the same server settings. The only
difference will be the username & password.

On mine, I have the following setup:

Servers tab:
POP3
pop.gmail.com
smtp.gmail.com
username (e-mail address removed)
password xxxxxx
[x] remember password
[ ] log on using secure password authentication
outgoing
[x] my server requires authentication

Advanced tab:
outgoing port 465
[x] this server requires a secure connection (SSL)
incoming port 995
[x] this server requires a secure connection (SSL)
