You're asking the wrong question. Microsoft won't. They don't do drivers
for other vendors products. The real questions is whether INTEL will provide
a driver.

For the GMA900, my bet would be no.
For the GMA950, my bet would be maybe, but probably no.

The Intel GMA 950 w/64mb works with aero.
I just installed Vista on a mac mini 1.83 intel core duo and it worked
without asking for drivers. Don't know about the 900 though.

I am sorry Tom, I think you are the lower man about the hardware, Do you know
that the first 5287 and some other edition i can open the Aero, if you don't
know why, close your mouth! ok?I come here just what to get the help that

GMA900 will definitely not support Aero. The hardware specs suggest
that it could do so, but neither Microsoft nor Intel have written a WDDM
driver (required) or have plans to do so at this time.

Note that early versions of the Vista upgrade advisor DID report that
GMA900 would support Aero. This, however, is incorrect, at least for
now, and the upgrade advisor was changed.

It's not even clear if GMA950, the successor to GMA900, will support
Aero. There are conflicting answers to this issue. People have gotten
GMA950 to work with registry patches and different drivers, but even
some of these that worked on earlier builds of Vista are no longer
working with RC1 and RC2. But GMA950 was supposed to support Aero,
although performance may be poor as some of the necessary functions that
would ideally be done in hardware are instead done in software (a dual
core CPU may help a lot).

Thank you , my friend, but i still want to know that there are lot of fans
with the Centrino which include the GMA900, do you think they have no longer
to can be help by the intel, should we forget the vista, the Aero? why? i
think the microsoft have no rights to take our rights to use the Aero!

There is always a chance that Intel (or someone else) might do a GMA900
WDDM driver; all that can be said is that as of now, no such driver
exists, and that neither Intel nor MS have given any indication of plans
to do one (in fact, I think that they have said that they will NOT do
one). For that matter, it's not even clear if GMA950 will support Aero,
but that's a more hopeful situation.

Yes, and nowhere does it say anything about Aero. In fact, the Intel person
said just what is in the quotes. It is not clear that Aero will be
available from this post.
