Inadverdently "permitted" 2118 and 2119 (see below):

Description:
This program has potentially unwanted behavior.

Advice:
Permit this detected item only if you trust the program or the software
publisher.

Resources:
firewallport:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\GloballyOpenPorts\List\\2119:UDP
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\GloballyOpenPorts\List\\2118:UDP
----------------end

Q: How can I undo it? should I go to regedit and delete these ports?

nma

I would not recommend doing that. Editing the registry will not prevent
communication thru those ports and is more likely to give you a problem with
your system. On the face of it (and I`m no expert), those Handle Keys seem to
have been created by your firewall application. Any alteration to your
settings in this area should be done thru your firewall application.

Probably means you are using the Windows Firewall (so Windows Defender
can configure it to permit traffic over those ports when you tell
Windows Defender to make those changes). I doubt Windows Defender
communicates with any other firewall. Go into Windows Firewall and
delete those exceptions.

RU talking about doing that thru Vista ?

Is the configuration of exceptions (to add/edit/delete them) different
for Vista than how you do it on XP? The OP never identified WHICH
version of Windows they use.
