Is there any way in Power Point to globally replace a
hyperlink? I have a 75 page presentation with multiple
hyperlinks to another presentation, and the link is no
longer valid. I'd like to find and replace all of the
hyperlinks at once. Thanks!

mt_talent,

I'm not sure if FixLinks will work with hyperlinks....have a look

Show me the link and let me edit it

Maybe Steve R will tell us?#
Maybe it does "The registered commercial version will do all that and prep sound, movie, image and document links so
they don't break"

Dear User ,

You can use the Find and replace option in powerpoint from Edit.

Maybe so. <g>

If the hyperlink is to a file, you'd be prompted to locate the file the first time FixLinks
encountered the link; it'd copy the file to the folder with the PPT and after that wouldn't
need you to locate it again for the other instances of links to the same file.

It wouldn't help with links to URLs and such.

Dear User ,

You can use the Find and replace option in powerpoint from Edit.

That will search and replace the linked text but Edit, Replace won't find the
text (ie, URLs and such) in the hyperlinks themselves.

And you need to be cautious even with the text:

If I have, say "This is a link to www.pptools.com" on a slide (with the
www...etc. part being a link to the actual url) and I search/replace to change
www.pptools.com to www.pptfaq.com, the link gets deleted altogether (since the
text it's linked to is no longer there)
