Global navbar text color

Can someone please tell me how to (if possible) change the text color on global navbars in fp2003? I can do it on the horizontal and vertical navbars but not global. I have a dark-colored custom bar I created and want light-colored text (if possible). Thanks much!

You have to replace the nav bar picture with one that has
the background you want.

Thanks for your very quick reply! - but I have already done that part. Now I want to change the color of the actual text (fonts) on the global navbar. There does not appear to be an option for this as there is for the verticle and horizontal navbars - ? (I have created my own custom theme and am doing every part of the design from scratch.)
 
Format - Theme - Modify - Text - More Text styles
And Edit .mstheme-topbar-font
Then save as a new theme name
