Is it possible to edit a global contact list with/Outlook 2003 while
connected to Exchange 2000?

I have 6 users on a small domain using XP Pro as a workstation while the
server is 2000 w/Exchange 2000, and two of those users have one e-mail that
is messed up. Any help with this fix will be appreciated. Oh BTW I have done
all updates on one of these workstations to try to fix this issue, however
had no luck.

Thank you,
Dan

Depends on where the Global Contacts are located, are they in a user contact
folder, are they in the GAL or a Public Folder or perhaps a Global
Distribution list.

I believe they are in the Global Distribution list, because I cannot edit the
e-mail address @ the workstation even with Admin privledges.

The only tool that I know off but haven tried is GALMOD
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=186950 it is for older version so no idea
if works on newer incarnations, the only other way I know off is by your
administrator's delegating control of Active Directory to a select few - but
whether they would be happy with is anybody's guess.

Hi Dan,
You may want to have a look at Profiler. It's a web based tool that
gives users the ability to modify their information in Active Directory
(& GC).
