Global Catalog Server Issues

I have a Domain with 4 DC's. I checked in my Sites & Services / NTDS
settings for each server and each one has the GC box checked. Is this
normal? If not what should I do to fix it? Can I simply uncheck the
servers I don't want and leave a single server as the GC? Or will that
cause problems.
The AD seems to be running OK.

In a single domain implementation, making every DC a GC simply opens
another port. That's it. You haven't given much information about
your configuration, however, so I can't be sure that this is the case
in your environment.
