glitches during playback

I asked this before and someone replied, but when I click on the link I just
get a blank page... so I will ask again, why are there skips and stutters in
the playbak that aren't there when I view the movie through the camera. It's
very annnoying...

Is this as soon as you've captured?
Before/After editing?
When you have saved to the pc?
When you have made a dvd?

What are your pc specs?
What file type did you capture as?
What file type did you save as?
